Professional belly dancer, teacher, and a fairly reliable source of Middle Eastern dance history if you get her started.
The story
Lizzie launched her professional career in Dubai in 2019, performing Middle Eastern dance for audiences who grew up with the music — the kind of room that tells you very quickly whether you have done the work.
She has been captivating audiences ever since. Now based in the North West of England, she performs and teaches across the North West and North Midlands, offering dynamic performances, expert tuition and authentic belly dance entertainment for all occasions.
What her students talk about most is not the technique. It is the cultural knowledge she brings to every class, the structure that keeps a room of mixed abilities all moving, and the fact that an hour in her class goes past in about ten minutes.
Where you’ll find her
Lizzie teaches at established studios across three counties, alongside her own online class.

The Monday evening open level class — the one students keep describing as their favourite hour of the week.
Saturday mornings at 10:30am, for anyone who would rather dance in their own front room.
Studio and online classes across South Cheshire, North Shropshire and North Staffordshire.
What she teaches
Belly dance is not one dance. It is a family of them, each with its own region, rhythm and reason.

Saidi, Nubian, Dabke and Khaleeji — the village and celebration dances that classical belly dance grew out of, taught with the context intact.

Egyptian raqs sharqi, Turkish and Lebanese cabaret — along with veil, cane and sword work when a class is ready for props.

Confidence. Coordination. A room of people who did not know each other in September and now go for coffee afterwards.
In her students’ words
“Lizzie is fun, welcoming and a fountain of knowledge. Her classes are always enjoyable and I leave every session smiling.”
